Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films as well as a couple of Malayalam. She won the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as the character Savitri. She has also won three SIIMA Awards as well as an Filmfare Award South. Keerthy is the child of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. Her acting journey began in the early 2000s. In 2013, she was the lead in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first films outside of Malayalam and signed up to appear in several Tamil film projects simultaneously. It it was A. L. Vijay, with Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. It didn't go much, but it was released. To accommodate larger projects, due to her crazier schedule, she was forced to opt to not participate in certain films that she began to work on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a love story) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. As a result, she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo which starred Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played her role as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. In 2015 the movie was later delayed and reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to release in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), with Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa opposite Vijay director Bharathan.
