Aaliyah Daniel Haughton shot into fame in 1994 when she released her album debut Age Ain't Anything But a Numer. Her album, which was launched when she was only fifteen years old, went Gold. It was done as part of a group that was greatly influenced by R. Kelly and it put the singer in the limelight. In the year 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland released Aaliyah's second album One In A Million. It contained If Your Girls Only Knew, the single that was most popular. Aaliyah gained notoriety as an R&B singer after the album's release. She appeared alongside the legendary martial artist Jet Li in 2000's action-romance film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, a film producer who was at an award show at the time she landed the role was able to spot her. Queen of the Damned was her first role in 2002. The story is based on an Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels saw her play Zee following her appearance in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. Aarti Mann is an Indian-American from the one generation who was who was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation for her husband's first name Mankad. Aarti has both Aarti Majumdar as well as Aarti Munn for her professional names. Although her early career was filled with minor movie and TV performances, she rose to greater notoriety in the late 2000s. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) as well as Grey's Anatomy (2017.) The actress has been featured in commercials for big brands such as international automobile manufacturer Volvo. She lives in Los Angeles where she continues to perform as an actor.
