Jenna-Louise Coleman has been a British actor for many years. She is most famous for her role as Clara Oswald, the character she portrayed in Doctor Who. The actress began her acting career at a young age when she was a part of Yer Space, a theatre group, and was part of the play Crystal Clear at Edinburgh Festival. Coleman's performance in Crystal Clear was recognized as well as awarded. Coleman's breakout moment came as she played Jasmine Thomas at Emmerdale. It lasted through 2009 when it ceased. Coleman made her film debut in 2011, when she portrayed Connie as Connie in Captain America: The First Avenger. It was in 2016 that Coleman got the chance to show her range. Coleman's acting experience has grown from her role as Lindsay James, a young schoolgirl on the BBC drama Waterloo Road, to portraying an empress on the show Victoria.
